The rain cleared and the show went on with 16 amazing pastas, loads of cakes and cookies, kids activities and the fabulous band The early Morning String Dusters.  You  raised 50K for Family Promise!  Thank you to all and especially our many generous sponsors, see Home Page  post , and our Judges, Mayor Burchett, City Counsel Member Martial Stair, News Sentinel food editor, Mary Constantine, TV Chef Walter Lambert, Judy Black, “Crowd Pleaser” winning pasta chef 2014 and Bob Olivo, “Judges Choice” 2014 representative. This year Ball Camp Baptist’s “Road Kill Pasta” to the Judges vote and Ebenezer UMC won the Crowd Pleaser with their “Fresh Veggie and Feta Pasta”.

We will celebrated our 10th Anniversary. We are absolutely honored that Karen Olson will join us. She is the founder of Family Promise and is still at the helm of Family Promise now with 185 affiliates in 42 states We have a number of opportunities for you and members of your congregations to join in the festivities.
  1. On Friday: We had a southern barbecue dinner with all the fixings at First Farragut Methodist Church.
  2. On Saturday: all past guests were invited to West View for a picnic on the lawn. We will had watermelon cutting and games for kids.
  3. On Sunday: Karen was the guest preacher at First Baptist at both the 8:45 and 11 o’clock services.
